WINTER BILLS:
Mailed November 30. Due March 2. After March 2, delinquent payments must be sent to Wexford County Treasurer, P.O. Box 293, Cadillac, MI 49601. Phone (231) 779-9475 for penalty information.

OFFICE HOURS:

March 3 to June 30 and September 16 to November 30: Call for an appointment: 231-775-6669.

Summer Tax Season- July 1-September 14: Wednesdays 8:30-12:00.

Winter Tax Season- December 1 to March 2:,Wednesday Thursday, and Friday 8:30-12:30.
Extended hours: Open 8:30-5:00 December 31, and March 28.

PAYMENTS:
Prefer mailed payments. Cash payments for exact amount accepted. After hours drop box by door is for checks only. Paid receipt will be returned for all payments. Make checks payable to Cherry Grove Township.

SUMMER TAX DEFERMENTS:
Purpose: To defer summer tax payments until March 2nd without penalty.
Who can apply: Earned income under $40,000 and one of the following:
      Over age 62 or unmarried widow/widower of a person who was 62.
      Eligible veteran or widower of veteran.

CHARGE CARDS ACCEPTED:
We now accept credit card payments for taxes or any services; however we do not recommend this be used by everyone. There is a 5% fee added on to any payment made. This is costly. Using this might be more appropriate near the end of February when on March 3rd all tax bills are charged a 5% fee by Wexford County.

We accept American Express, Discover, Master Card and Visa. You must call the Township Treasurer, at (231) 775-6669 to get a 10-digit authorization code before calling 1-888-604-7888. This number is to Government Payment Services and their hours are Mon-Fri 8AM-4PM. Have your authorization code and credit card when calling.
