Township Board meetings are the second Wed. of each month at 7:00 PM at the township offices at 4830 E M-55, Cadillac, MI 49601.
Lake Mitchell Property Owners
Lake Mitchell property owners are urged to use the link to the Lake Mitchell Improvement Board at the top of this page. (Put your cursor on tab and then click on the dropdown link to the Board.) This web page provides access to the current newsletter with important information about this summer's treatments and meetings. The Lake Mitchell Propertt Owners' Association annual meeting will be May 24 at 10 A.M. at the Cherry Grove Township Fire Hall on M-55. There will be NO postcard notice of this meeting.
All 2007 Taxes Now Past Due
On March 1, 2008, all taxes still unpaid were turned over to the County and late fees and interest will accrue. Please contact County Treasurer at 779-9475 for current amounts.
TAX BILL INFORMATION
You may now track your current taxes and status by by clicking on the "Inquire Tax Status" button to the left. Then when the new page opens, click on the "tax information search" under the CURRENT TAX on the left. You then can search by name, property address, or property code begining with 2110-. After we post tax payments, the website will show the current status within 24 hours of payment. After March 1, 2008, information on the website will not show current tax status.
Town Hall
The township board is still discussing the outcome of the town hall property. The board is currently looking at options brought to the them by a committee formed to review and develop options, as well as an option to develop a long term lease with a non-profit organization.

All future elections will be held at the Township office located behind the fire garages.
